Choro Mesu Days 1
Takashi’s life was turned upside down when his parents remarried. Suddenly, his laid-back and predictable existence was interrupted by the unexpected arrival of a new stepsister. The thought of living with a complete stranger who happened to be a girl sent his social anxiety into a frenzy. Sharing his space with someone he had never met felt more uncomfortable than a turtle trying to race on rollerblades. He was bracing himself for an overwhelming cringe-fest.
However, his mind, bless it, struggled to even comprehend the introduction of Alice.
Alice, his new stepsister, hailed from Scandinavia, and her arrival in his typical Japanese household was akin to a supernova exploding in a broom closet. She was breathtaking, exuding a calmness so powerful it could soothe even the most hyperactive squirrel. On one hand, Takashi was genuinely excited; having a sister who was both kind and attractive was a plot twist he had not anticipated. Yet, on the other hand, a particularly prominent physical attribute of hers began to disrupt his internal equilibrium. We are referring to her chest, a remarkable and attention-grabbing feature that possessed a gravitational force stronger than a mini black hole.
This was an undeniable reality, much like the existence of bad pop music or long queues, which constantly challenged his ability to remain composed. Nevertheless, Takashi was determined to be a genuine brother. He observed Alice making an effort to connect their worlds with the sincerity of a golden retriever puppy. He admired her dedication. Thus, he made a decision. He took all those flustered, un-brotherly emotions, confined them in a mental lockbox, and discarded the key. He constructed a fortress of “chill bro vibes” and “platonic solidarity.” He was committed to being the rockstar older brother she required. He would listen to her stories about fjords and other topics, ensuring that their interactions remained smoother than a fresh jar of Skippy. For a brief period, the fortress stood strong enough to withstand a zombie apocalypse.
Then came the day that obliterated everything.
